Sullivan is
mentally psychotic and also physically ill and he |
|
becomes
convinced his wife is having an affair with his |
|
doctor. And
then that she is plotting to kill him. He writes to |
|
his lawyer
setting out her intentions. Once the letter is on its |
|
way he tells
his wife what he has written whilst holding her at |
|
gun point.
But the excitement kills him. She is then |
|
desperate to
get back the letter which would mark her as a |
|
