NOTES |
The story is
told by the son of a professor who is trying to find a cure for
schizophrenia. His method involves injecting enzymes which he calls
"Paratosas because he explains "paratosis has made him insane". One
could crudely call it 'worm therapy'. The son is assisting his
father during the summer and manages to fall in love with one of the
patients who appears sane. Though the rest of the patients are
presented as leeringly mad which makes it easy for her to stand out.
The film is abysmally awful in all respects and is like a throwback
from the sixties. The script resembles a badly written essay which
never gets to the point. The professor operates without any kind of
surgical proceedure which is perhaps why he was struck off and is
working in a remote part of Mexico.
Note: The DVD cover can't even spell "lobotomy |
