Set against
the background of May 18, 1993 when Denmark |
|
voted to
join the European Union though the vote was followed by riots in
the streets against the decision. This won't mean much to
non-Europeans but the film concentrates on three stories of
people who are little concerned with the political events going
on around them except they all make an effort to vote. |
|
In the
second story a young man is committed to a psychiatric |
|
hospital for
30 days and fears he may lose his girlfriend so he |
|
escapes.
Though concerned with his girlfriend he's upset |
|
that he's
not eligible to vote because of his psychiatric |
