Davis plays hard drinking, self-destructive actress. She's in
love with Franchot Tone who brings her back into this world
but she sticks by her husband disabled in a car crash caused
by her crazy driving.
The film is only as good as Davis' performance. And you'll
feel no sympathy for the whining husband.
