Into a
Latino community strolls a drifter and con man. He's |

just been
thrown off the train and he's looking for somewhere |

to sleep. In
a bar his smooth way soon gets him a bed. But |

also the
idea for another con. One of the barmaids is married |
|
to an
ex-baseball player who has had to quit the game |
|
because of
disability. He also has $136,000 insurance money which he has
hidden from his wife. The con man plans to part the man
and his money by playing on the husband's Christian
charity. By faking a miracle at the local church he persuades
the husband to give the money to the church through
himself as an intermediary. |
