Last Orders (2001)


After the death of a friend a group of people gather and their lives are examined as they take his ashes to Margate (by the sea). Though Michael Caine plays Jack, the dead friend, he is seen in flashbacks. Jack and his wife have a mentally disabled daughter who has been in an institution for 50 years and whom he has always refused to visit.
This is a very talky film which I don't think is as good as the cast suggests but it has had good reviews.
