The story is
of two farming families, one black, the other |

white, who
are struggling to make a living. They co-operate |

to get the
water to irrigate their fields. But they cause |

problems for
a rich, white landowner who wants them out. He |
|
has a son
with learning difficulties and uses him in his fight |
