Do you know the film Girls' Night
(1997) then watch that because this is a "cabbage patch" version of
a similar story. Betty White plays Evelyn a successful business
executive who learns she has only a few months to live (I'm not sure
her condition is actually named). So she packs everything up and
goes to Mexico. There she has a holiday romance with Lloyd (Leslie
Nielsen). Then strangely enough when she returns to the U.S. and is
re-united with Lloyd she's no longer dying. Or maybe I missed
something because this is a very boring film which I skipped
through.
First off this film is a phoney the woman involved is not dying.
Just one reason to avoid it.
Betty White is a business woman and a widow running at full strength
who goes to her doctor's for tests and is told she has about six
months to live. She decides to go to Mexico and enjoy life. There
she is romanced by Leslie Neilsen's character. Since at all times
she displays an abundance of health we are not surprised when her
doctor contacts her to tell her she only has anemia. This is dull,
corny rubbish. |
