NOTES Lark Jarvis writes:
It is the story of a romance between a mildly retarded man and a young woman with severe cerebral palsy.  There is a wonderful, bravely filmed sex scene in which the young woman asks the man to have sex with her, and is clearly enjoying it very much.  Things take a tragic (and difficult to watch) turn, though, when her family discovers the two of them and accuses the man of rape.  The film exposes South Korean family structure and a large degree of hypocrisy/stigma/hostility toward people with disabilities, and tells its story poetically and lyrically, without any saccharine.
