NOTES |
Hectic
business woman has blackout while driving and |
|
demolishes
bus shelter. She's a single mother living with her |
|
dad. Her
young daughter is allergic to milk. |
|
The blackout
was caused by a blockage in her arteries (sorry |
|
can't be
more specific). Hospital will operate provided she |
|
has no
family history of heart problems. |
|
Back home
she eventually wheedles out of her father that she |
|
was adopted,
"All these years and you never told me." A |
|
slight
omission though it turns out the adoption was a bit |
|
The film
from that point becomes a trek of discovery. She |
|
finds her
mother quickly enough but the mother denies their |
|
relationship
just to stretch the film out. Patty Duke who not |
|
long ago
would have played the daughter now is the mum. |
|
Mum also is
allergic to milk. There's a long sequence |
|
explaining
how mum became pregnant. And the daughter |
|
goes on to
have a successful operation. |
