NOTES |
Film fiends
might enjoy here the number of borrowings from |

other films.
None of which I'm sure are intentional just a way |

lessening
the burden of writing a script. |

A father who
is worried about the waywardness of his children hires a
yacht hoping a cruise will put them on the right course.
Appropriately there is a teenage son and daughter and a
younger son. But, alas, they are shipwrecked on an island where
they are greeted by dwarfs. Then they meet the rest of the
inhabitants who are as varied a bunch as you could well, not
imagine, but steal from other films. This exotic clan who claim to
be the denizens of Atlantis might appeal to fans of Startrek.
Naturally there are a couple of normal villains to provide
romantic fodder for the teenage son and daughter. |
|
There's an
enemy which allows the father to take on Yul |
|
Brynner's
role from "The Magnificent Seven". And there's |
|
even a white
horse with a clued on horn, I mean a unicorn. |
|
The extras
aren't directed just let loose. The baddies defeat |
|
the goodies
and who knows if there was a happy ending, I |
