NOTES Nothing to do with Dracula they're just exploiting the name.

This is about a countess who needs a constant supply of

blood to become and remain young. The blood has to come

from virgins which is O.K. if you can afford them, a bit like

organic food.

This being a Hammer film it has production values that would

make champion limbo dancers and the actors try hard to win

the contest.

There are two dwarves in the cast one credited as a "circus

midget" played by Albert Wilkinson. And there is a character

who kidnaps the daughter of the Countess who doesn't

speak. No reason is given for this. Like the inclusion of the

dwarves it's a common feature of cheap production. Non

speaking parts are paid less, perhaps dwarf actors are too :-)
