Dwarf Minor

TITLE |
Countess Dracula (1972) |
NOTES |
Nothing to
do with Dracula they're just exploiting the name. |
This is
about a countess who needs a constant supply of |
blood to
become and remain young. The blood has to come |
from virgins
which is O.K. if you can afford them, a bit like |
This being a
Hammer film it has production values that would |
make
champion limbo dancers and the actors try hard to win |
There are
two dwarves in the cast one credited as a "circus |
midget"
played by Albert Wilkinson. And there is a character |
who kidnaps
the daughter of the Countess who doesn't |
speak. No
reason is given for this. Like the inclusion of the |
dwarves it's
a common feature of cheap production. Non |
speaking
parts are paid less, perhaps dwarf actors are too :-) |
