"The documentary follows Dan Keplinger from age 13 to his graduation from college, documenting the struggle of an individual with cerebral palsy to enter the mainstream and the birth of an artist. The film won an Academy Award for best documentary (short subject) in 2000. It's a really great gritty view through the eyes of this passionate man. He actually wrote the
script for the film and narrates it!"
