Quasimodo is
a resistance leader who rapes the daughter of |

a Nazi
collaborator and then falls in love with her. She |

becomes
pregnant but miscarries and becomes a prostitute. |
|
The
hunchback is shot, captured, tortured, escapes and |
|
attempts to
liberate his part of Rome and the women who |
|
have become
prostitutes -- without success. |
