by the proverbial mad scientist (the gang are |

played by Dominque Pinon). |

What is
missing from Krank's makeup is the ability to dream |

so he
kidnaps children to steal their dreams. Ironically, |
|
because they
hate him, he gets their nightmares. |
|
Krank makes
the mistake of kidnapping the adopted brother of a circus
strong man who then sets out in pursuit. |
|
If you have
seen "Delicatessen" by the same directors you'll |
|
know to
expect an imaginative, colourful, eccentric film. |
