NOTES |
Bronek
Pekosinski is a chess master in his eighties living in |
|
Zamosc,
Poland. He is alone, without a family and barely |
|
He is
described as having a 'hump' (curved spine) and being |
|
partly
paralysed from the effects of cerebral haemorrhage, |
|
plus he has
Alzheimers. Both the Roman Catholic church and |
|
the
totalitarian state vie for his soul. |
|
He is also
searching for his mother. |
|
Pekosinski
plays himself but actors play the different stages in his life. |
