Catya writes: Alpine Fire. It's a weird, but excellent film. A tale of two siblings- a hearing girl and a deaf boy (Thomas Nock) - and their hearing parents. Siblings communicate in sign language, but the son is largely ignored by the parents. It's a 'Rites of Passage' film, and its ending is way-out-of-the-world. I saw this film about 12 years ago, and it's still vivid in my mind. Thomas Nock is hearing.
