NOTES About the son of a Rabbi who is dying from leukaemia. As the film starts he is in six months remission. The son of a catholic firefighter wants to help the Rabbi's son get to heaven by converting him to catholism.
No medical treatment is seen. All we witness is a doctor telling the parents he has little chance.

The boy dies but his friend says he didn't go to heaven

Religious issues are raised but these are about as interesting as washing-up. They're dodgy and evasive and everything boils down to faith. But the boy comes up with a solution satisfactory to everybody.
