NOTES |
This a good
thriller and worth seeing but the recruitment as an assassin of a
man dying from chronic myaloid (myeloid) leukaemia is a plot device.
And you would not be wise to examine too closely the strands of the
plot or the lack of characterisation to explain motivation.
I didn't understand the juxtaposition of his condition being
described as chronic and terminal. I presume they meant "acute".
Since he is shot in the end we don't know how long he would
otherwise have lived. Many medical sites do use the term "chronic"
so I'm none the wiser. |
