NOTES Harry (Harrelson) comes out of prison after 2 years. He was

wrongly accused but he's a natural thief. When Rhea (Shue)

leaves her handbag in the telephone kiosk he steals it. But it

turns out he was being set-up. She offers him a job or

exposure. Rhea wants him to pretend to kidnap her step

daughter. Though he tapes their discussions nothing comes

of this.

Rhea's husband is very rich but won't give either daughter or

wife much money so the kidnap plot is get money out of him.

He is dying from lung cancer and uses an oxygen machine so

presumably they could just wait. However this is the

director's stab at film noir and the plot thickens.
