NOTES |
A pretty
single mum and hot shot lawyer who drives a convertible BMW 2
discovers she's terminally ill with cancer. She's just bought a
great home on the beach in California which makes it convenient for
contemplative walks and she moves there from Chicago. On the beach
she meets another walker who tries to chat her up and she does has a
romance with a young stud.
It's unclear why she gives up work when her illness doesn't appear
to inhibit her in any way. Though later she has headaches and lower
back pain and has chemo-radiation.
She tells her lover that she has cancer (what kind?) and he walks
out but comes back.
She begins to weaken and collapses in store. Cancer has spread to
brain. She becomes maudlin and there's lots of talking. She want her
love ,Micheal, to adopt her daughter. Her parents who were going to
look after the daughter and are against this. And then she dies. |
