Mildred is a
college professor, a lesbian and in her 50s. Doris has raised a
family on her own, never really worked for long and is in
her 60s. And she falls in love with Mildred. Each has to cope with
the other's very different life-style. Doris gets breast
cancer and has to have a mastectomy.
