Leaden film
with the usual cast of mediocre British actors. |

There is a
lot of pseudo scientific explanation under the |
|
pretense of
looking for a cure for cancer. The sets are very |
|
obviously
fibre glass or papier mache. The horror starts when |
|
a worker in
the laboratory goes outside and disappears |
|
between two
large rocks. Later his body is found turned to |
|
When you get
to see the monster responsible for this you'll |
|
know that
special effects hadn't yet been invented. Though |
|
this doesn't
stop the monster spawning a number of replicas. |
|
The film is
set I think in Hammer's backyard. The lab team in |
|
an
unbelievably trashy scene try to kill the monsters first with
|
|
shotguns,
then a petrol bomb and finally dynamite. |
