NOTES |
A father and
his son go into a 'weird' shop run by a 'gypsy'. |
|
She's rude
to them at first but after eyeing up dad she gives |
|
him a pair
of shoes. She has sussed that dad is dying from |
|
cancer. He's
on a regime of herbs and other stuff and not |
|
chemotherapy. Shortly afterwards he dies and the action |
|
turns to the
son (while generally ignoring his daughter). The |
|
son puts on
the shoes (somehow they fit him) and he's |
|
whisked back
to 1962 and becomes his father. The major |
|
reason for
this is that the father died without being reconciled |
|
to his own
estranged father. The son puts this right. |
|
This is a
rather stupid time switch story meant to appeal to |
|
kids and
involves the usual know-how about what will happen |
|
in the
future when in the past. |
