Cancer Minor

Harry Munter (1969)

A slow Swedish film about a young gifted man living with his parents and is an inventor. He is offered work in America but turns this down a) because his mother is having an affair with the American who made the offer b) because a friend , an old man, is dying with cancer c) a lonely girl he befriends. Or all three.

Can anyone straighten this out?
