Not quite in
the vein of the 'mad scientist', here we have a |
|
scientist
who makes a mistake. The consequences will |
|
possibly
bring the world to an end. The end of the world starts |
|
with a small
crack which becomes bigger. The first attempt |
|
using an
atom bomb to stop the crack 'taking over the world' |
|
results in a
piece of the earth flying off and forming a second |
|
moon. But
the crack still has expansionist ideas so the |
|
scientist
who is dying from cancer sacrifices himself to save |
|
