Sunshine (1973) (TV Film) |

NOTES |
'Love Story'
among the hippies. The young mother is dying of a malignant
tumour, her husband can't cope with this and has an affair
with a neighbour. A script with some depth is spoiled by
the sentimental aura cast on the mother. |
|
The film is
told in flashbacks after the scattering of her ashes |
|
and is set
in the hippy 60s. |

A young
mother has a tumour on a bone in her leg which is |

malignant.

|
allow it.
They suggest chemotherapy but she won't take her |

Supposedly
there is a sequel called 'Sunshine Christmas' |
|
presumably
without the mother who died. |
|
There are
some wonderful comments about the film at IMDB: |
|
including
"The more I saw it, the more I cried, until I had to |
|
stop seeing
it!" "This movie can move you."
