reporter in the U.S. He died from cancer. |

You have to be obsessed
with basketball to get through the first 30 minutes. He is diagnosed
with Melastic (sic?) lodged in his spine causing tumourous growth in
other areas. The hospital scenes are at Duke University in 1992.
After treatment he does play some golf and give match commentaries
during which he publicises the cause of cancer research. When he
dies in 1993 his family set up a foundation for cancer research.
Unfortunately his life is given the usual TV treatment, melodramatic
and sentimental. |
