Cancer Major

TITLE |
My
Father My Son (1988) (TV Film) |
NOTES |
While his
son is serving in Vietnam his father, an Admiral, is |
authorising
chemical warfare. On return from Vietnam the son |
gets cancer
of lymph system caused by agent orange. He |
has two
types of lymphona (sic?) . He has chemotherapy for |
6 months
later he is seeking a donor transplant of bone |
marrow. This
is successful and he recovers but we're told |
Weak,
sentimental film which left me not caring too much |
about the
participants. If agent orange did cause this cancer |
then this is
a big issue (and not just for American soldiers) |
and deserves
major treatment. |
