A husband
(Jack Lemmon) who is used to doing nothing |

about the
house struggles to live without his wife when she |

has a heart
attack and goes to hospital. Then he develops |

cancer. HIs
high flyer son (Ted Danson) becomes his carer |
|
and the bond
between father and son develops. |
|
Spoilt by
descent into sentimentality and incredulity. Drama is |
|
At the risk
of offending fans of Lemmon and Danson I'd say |
|
forget this
one. It may be right in detail but it's awful in |
|
general. A
very glossy production, though you can't miss |
|
Lemmon's
skullcap (like Costner's beard in 'Dances with |
|
Wolves' and
'Robin Hood' it doesn't work). |
