TITLE |
Disturbance at Dinner, The (1997) |
A nerdish
young man who has led an undistinguished life |
(what
Chekhov would call a "non-enity") saves the life of a |
beautiful
woman who is blind. Being the withdrawn person he |
is he runs
away even though he fancies her. End of story. |
Not quite,
because they meet again and form a relationship. |
This looks
suspiciously like a blind woman doesn't deserve |
'someone of
signifance'. Though it is possible she discovers |
parts of him
others haven't reached. |
