|
A couple are
about to marry when he is called away to fight. |
|
In the war
he is blinded and taken prisoner. His fiancee thinks |

he is dead
and plans to marry his best friend. But then the |
|
friend
learns her fiancee is back in England and writing |
|
children's'
stories. The soldier has kept quiet because he |
|
didn't want
to impose his disability on her. The friend tells her |
|
and she goes
back to the soldier after a little diversion. |
