Malden
(dubbed) plays a blind ex-journalist, blinded in an |

accident.
James Franciscus who played the blind detective in |
|
TV series
Longstreet (1971-72) is a journalist. Malden's |
|
approach is
to just stare into space with his head slightly |
|
raised. He
lives with his niece who is about 10 and whose |
|
parents are
dead. She acts in some situations as his 'eyes'. |
|
The drama
switches to a laboratory doing genetic research |
|
into
hereditary diseases where there has been a robbery. |
|
Apparently
nothing has been stolen and espionage is |
|
suspected.
But one worker knows what has been stolen and |
|
by whom. And
very quickly he is killed by a train -- pushed of |
|
Some of the
time Malden's character wears dark glasses. At |
|
one time he
is shown frying eggs. |
|
When walking
together Francicus holds his arm instead of |
|
allow Malden
to hold his. |
|
Overall this
is just a mystery story rather badly done. |
