A young boy
is sent to an orphanage/school. Into the |

courtyard a
bomb drops but doesn't explode. The bomb |

remains
there throughout. This is a film about the war, |

ghosts,
growing up and relationships among the staff. |

Carmen the
school's principal has a wooden leg (I believe she is an above
the knee amputee). Further
note:
The boy brought to the school has visions of another boy. One of the
boys (Owl?) doesn't speak.
The school is run by communists looking after 'communist' children.
Carmen is a right above knee amputee. Her prosthetic is made of
leather, wood and metal.
