Stone Merchant, The (2006)

Comments:   The professor, husband of woman who gets caught up in terrorist attack, is a double above knee amputee. He uses a wheelchair and has a car into which he folds his chair. He has bars around the walls of his living room on which he exercises these later become a means of escape from people trying to kill him. His university subject is Islam and terrorism which he has focused on since losing his legs in the terrorist attack on the American embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. He still has nightmares and a lot of pain.
Taking a break after the wife's ordeal they go to a moslem country where she falls for the Stone Merchant. This part is oddly and unconvincingly played by Harvery Keitel. I could not believe that she would fall for him. The reality he is 'courting' her to use her in a terrorist attack on a cross-channel ferry though this is just part of the mess the plot is in.

Jordi Molla who plays the professor is quite convincing as an amputee but I don't believe he is.
