NOTES A man found lying on the beach gets home to find he's been

missing for 3 weeks. His wife has hired a private detective

because she thinks he has another woman. The phone rings

and when he answers a woman called Mavis asks him in an

intimate way how he is.

The wife finds the private eye's card in his pocket, at which

point she tells her husband the man was murdered. Of

course he remembers nothing of the past 3 weeks and a

murder mystery is set up. He is in fact a safe designer who

has unwittingly helped jewel thieves.

Appallingly acted and scripted this film just adds to a long list

of dreadful British films of this period.

Anthony Booth is the British Prime Minister's (Tony Blair)

father-in-law.
