NOTES |
Detective,
Jack Brennan, investigating a serial killer chases |
|
after a man
and bangs his head. This results in post- |
|
traumatic
amnesia. His memories are scrambled and it is |
|
random what
he has lost. But Brennan is desperately needed |
|
for the
investigation. He's indispensable and his boss says |
|
"he sees
things the rest of us missed." So the police dept. |
|
call in a
psychologist. In fact the doctor is a researcher and |
|
doesn't want
the job but quickly caves in. She takes him |
|
through a
series of tests and then goes home with him. Is |
|
this part of
the treatment? Interesting side effect of his |
|
amnesia is
that he no longer has the desire to smoke. |
|
Serial
killer always have a signature and the one being |
|
pursued
kills every 28 days. Which should create tension but |
|
doesn't. For
the umpteenth time in film the detective himself |
|
becomes a
target after a newspaper story and the killer calls |
|
All the
while the good doc tags along even going to a country |
|
retreat with
him but you've guessed that romance is in the air. |
|
