During
France's war in Vietnam a pilot, Pierre, kills a young |

girl during
a bombing raid. Back in France he has partial |

amnesia and
stress related illness and lives a totally |
|
withdrawn
life. Then he meets a young girl who has been |
|
offloaded at
boarding school by her father. Pierre pretends to |
|
be the
girl's father seeing her every weekend on a Sunday. |
|
But his
attention to the girl becomes the subject of comment. |
