NOTES |
A man,
Trevor wakes from 4 years in a coma to find himself in a mental
institution. He has amnesia and remembers nothing about having
apparently murdered his girl-friend.
From the hospital he moved into an old house which is some kind of
home for disturbed patients.
There he is under observation by the 'nutty' Dr. Ek using that
favourite device of having cameras planted everywhere like TV's Big
Brother. Though they are not there to show Trevor didn't rape the
beautiful blonde patient. On cue the killings begin and there is
also one of those mysterious doors which must not be opened.
Dr. Ek is up to some sort of mind games but by this time I think
you'll be quite confused about what is going on. Trevor is referred
to as an "acute schizophrenic" but I think we can ignore this acute
analysis.
This is definitely a horror film in the psycho-horror genre and is
for aficionados only. There are also the obligatory nude scenes. |
