In the
fashion of TV 'disease of the week' films this is based |

of a real life super model Gia Carangi. It's glossy |
|
but dull and
the excuse of its existence is that she was one of |
|
the first
women in the U.S. to die from AIDS, plus it allows the |
|
inclusion of
some very soft porn. |
|
Her life is
charted from teenager to when she died at 26. She |
|
probably
caught HIV from drug abuse though the film claims |
|
Worth seeing
for the detail and the exposure, if we needed it, |
|
of the
background to modelling. |
