This is a
road movie. Three women share a car travelling |

west. Whoopi
Goldberg is Jane a lesbian musician in love |

with a
straight woman. Mary-Louise Parker is Robin who |

sells real
estate and is uptight about hygiene. Drew |

Barrymore is
Holly who is running away from an abusive |
|
The film
starts slowly developing the characters of Jane and |
|
Robin but
livens up when they pick up Holly. En route there is |
|
some fun and
excitement but they have to stop in Tuscon |
|
when Robin
becomes ill with pneumonia, a consequence of |
|
The tone of
the film changes at this point and you might lose |
|
interest.
But M-L Parker is an accomplished actor, Barrymore |
|
is bright
and sparkling and Goldberg plays her usual role. |
